Instructions
Mount a picture of a church, a school, and a house on pieces of paper and laminate them.
Collect additional pictures of a cross, a person praying, a Bible, a hymnal, a pulpit, a choir, etc., along with pictures of a teacher, desks, a book bag, children swinging, playground activities, school sports, etc., and pets, a child's bedroom, a backyard, a car, a family at a meal, etc.
Have the children match pictures of church activities and things associated with church to the laminated church picture, and match pictures of the other things and activities to the school picture or the house picture.
Reinforce the idea with the children that different activities take place at church, at school, and at home, and that God's house is special. Remind them that God's church is a place for prayer, singing hymns, reading the Bible, and worshiping.
