Great among you
Children's Activity

Teachers: This week's lesson offers a good memory verse.
Depending on the age group of your class, you may use the shorter
or longer verse that we suggest. Have the verse written on the
chalk board. Then read it to your class. Help each student to
memorize it.
We suggest a portion of verses 43 and 44:
Short version: Whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant.
Long version: Whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave to all.
If a student does not wish to memorize either verse, suggest that he write it out on a sheet of paper.
Parents: Your child memorized an important Bible verse. The verse is about being a servant. Ask your child to recite the verse for you. It is a portion of verses 43 and 44 from the 10th chapter of Mark.
