Fishing line

2. Tell the children to cover their cups by gluing blue construction paper onto them.

5. Help the children cut their stars out.
6. Taking a section of fishing line, about eighteen inches long, have the children glue the Jesus pictures (one on top of the line and one under the line) in the center of the line. Then have them glue the stars onto the line so that the Jesus pictures are between them, about an inch of space on each side.
7. Have an adult helper carefully poke a small hole through the bottom of the cups, using the needle.
8. Help the children feed the fishing line through the cups so that the star ends are touching the cup bottoms.
9. Jesus should easily be able to ascend into the cloud cup when the line is pulled by the stars.
