Children's Activity
Object:
Materials:
Oven or toaster oven
Refrigerator biscuits (one per child)
Large marshmallows (one per child)
Melted butter or spray butter
Cinnamon and sugar mix (store-bought or self-mixed)
Directions:
Have the children flatten their biscuits with the palm of their hands. Then insert a marshmallow into the center of the flattened biscuit. Have the children wrap the biscuit around the marshmallow, being careful to cover the entire marshmallow. Coat the biscuit with butter and the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Bake the biscuits according to the package directions. The children will be amazed to find the center hollow where the marshmallow has melted. Tell them this is just the way they found Jesus' tomb empty.
