SHARING THIS WEEK'S GOSPEL THEME AT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND AT
HOME
Materials:
Unfrosted baked cupcakes
White frosting
Red licorice laces or red squeeze gel (cake-decorating kind)
Plastic knives or spoons
Directions:
1. Give each of the children a cupcake and enough frosting to cover the tops of the cupcakes.
2. Direct the children to frost their cupcakes from edge to edge.
3. Using the red licorice laces or the gel, help the children make the half-moon stitching like found on a baseball.
4. Encourage them to be creative. They can tear the licorice into little pieces to make the licorice laces look like real laces. They could also add their favorite baseball player's number.
5. Enjoy eating the cupcakes.
