Seeing people in a different way
Good morning, boys and girls. Today we are going to talk about people who have heard about our God, but they do not know very much about him. Many of these people have never been inside of a church like ours. Do you know anyone like this? (let them answer)
Saint Paul said people like this were "far away." He meant far away from God and from God's love. I bought along some binoculars and I want you to see what people look like when they are far away. (give them the binoculars but have them look through the wrong end) People look pretty far away, don't they? (let them answer)
