HOME
Materials:
Foam paper plates
Scissors
Craft sticks
Glue
Markers
Craft foam scraps
Directions:
1. Give each of the children a paper plate and help him/her cut the plate in half.
2. Have the children glue the craft sticks in a cross shape, using one small piece and one large piece of the sticks.
3. Help the children glue the cross to one-half of the paper plate on the side where food would go. Be sure that the children glue their crosses to the curved edges.
4. Have the children then glue the two plate halves together at the curved edges to make a tomb. The flat edge should enable the tomb to stand.
5. Help the children write "Christ is risen" on their paper-plate tombs.
6. Let the children use the craft foam to make grass, trees, and other decorations if they desire.
