According to his own admission, Mark was as bad as they came. He did drugs, smoked and drank. In order to support his habit he lied, cheated and stole. He tried to act as if he was as tough as nails. In fact one time, Mark beat someone up just because he'd asked Mark for a cigarette.
But then Mark heard the Gospel. He found out what it meant to ask for and to receive forgiveness. He learned that God loved him. He learned what it meant to love others in the same way that God loved him. He even started to love himself.
Today Mark is telling everyone who will listen that believing in the Gospel changed his life. Today, Mark is out on the street, speaking to the same people he once hung out with. His message is simple. If the Gospel could change me, it can change you too. All you have to do is believe.
