Being a disciple takes total devotion, determination, and will power. The members of Weight Watchers might know as much about this sort of strength as anyone in the pews on Sunday morning. Hanging over the door where Weight Watchers meet in one particular church is a sign that reads: "Strength is the ability to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands -- and then eat just one of the pieces."
That's the kind of strength, determination, and total devotion it takes to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
