Boot camp. Many are the stories told by recruits, volunteers and draftees about boot camp. The purpose of boot camp, of course, is to take untrained, unindoctrinated (yet presumably willing) civilians and mold them, through perseverance, into capable, qualified, trained soldiers. What would a boot camp for Christians be like? What would be the program involved in using the grace of God to train "civilians" to renounce impiety and worldly passions, to develop upright lives of self-control, who by Jesus are purified to be zealous for good deeds? -- Lintern
