British actor Wilfrid Lawson once invited fellow-actor Richard Burton to come to the theater so the latter could watch the former act in a matinee performance. Since Lawson was not due to perform at the beginning of the play, he sat in the audience with Burton during the opening scenes.
After 20 minutes, Burton became concerned to find Lawson still sitting next to him, making no move to get backstage to prepare for his entrance. A few moments later, Lawson tapped Burton on the arm and whispered excitedly, "You'll like this bit. This is where I come in!"
