The Butterball Turkey Company offers a hotline so that consumers can call in and ask questions about how to prepare their turkeys. One woman phoned in to say that she recently discovered that a turkey had been in her freezer for 23 years, and she wanted to know if it was still safe to eat. So the operator advised her that if the freezer had been kept at 0 degrees all along and had never defrosted, the turkey would be safe, but the quality of the meat would not be that good. So the woman replied, "That's what I thought. So I'll just give it to the church." As we express our love through the church, do we do so in a costly way, or do we do the least we possibly can? -- Bowen
