A church had just run out of money and decided that they could no longer afford a full-time priest. The priest currently serving said, "I had bills to pay, and no good prospects, so in order to fill what I assumed would be a short time, I signed up with Kelly Services as a temporary secretary. After nine months she was still employed as a "Kelly girl," and learning the meaning of being a servant to all. There was nothing glamorous in the work she did: answering phones, typing letters, filing. It was not what one would call professional or creative.
