Denise was hurt! She was attending a church-affiliated college. She was very devout in
her faith. She attended chapel every week. She once went to a church service at her aunt's
place of worship. The pastor told Denise that the college she attended did not agree with
their particular church's views on communion. Denise was requested not to partake in
communion with the congregation.
Brokenhearted, she rushed out of the sanctuary and went to a church down the street. There, she was told that what the church believed, and "it is between her and her Lord" as to whether or not she was comfortable communing with them. When this was all said and done, she wondered how many surprised people there would be on the "last day" when Jesus raises up all the faithful Christians.
