Do only preachers preach Christ?
There was an old carpenter who lived in a remote village in the mountains of Rumania. He was poor, old, and sick. He could not travel anywhere. He prayed that God would send him an unbeliever, so that he could share the good news of Jesus and bring a new believer into the family of God. Some time after that prayer, a young man showed up in the village. The carpenter saw in him the answer to his prayers. He gave him a Bible. The young man had read the Bible before out of cultural interest. But this time it was different. The Bible in his hands he now read was (in his words afterwards) "written not so much in words, but in flames of love fired by [the carpen-ter's] prayers." The young man wept over it, as he compared his now sad, impure life to the life of Jesus, his own hatred to his love -- and yet, Jesus accepted him and died for him! He turned his heart over to Jesus. Soon after, his wife also came to faith. Together they "preached Christ," and soon a new congregation of believers had arisen in Rumania. God makes light shine in the darkness when simple believers preach Christ, earthen vessels sharing the treasure of heaven. (Source: Tortured for Christ, Richard Wurmbrand, p. 12.)
