Does our life reflect that...

Does our life reflect that we "have been raised with Christ" and that we "have put on the new nature?"
Philip Yancey in his book Disappointment with God tells of a friend named Carolyn who has cerebral palsy. The outward signs of her drooling, floppy arm movements and inarticulate speech make some people wonder if she is retarded. Actually her mind works very well; it is muscular control that does not function properly.
Despite her disability, she went to college, and, though it took her longer than usual, eventually graduated. Few students felt comfortable talking with her. One day, however, she was asked to speak in chapel. She prepared many hours for her talk, and then asked her close friend Josee to read it for her. In chapel she sat in her wheelchair next to her friend who read in a clean, resonant voice her own mature and graceful prose.
For the first time, many of the students saw Carolyn as a complete human being. Before her very good mind had always been masked by a disobedient body. Now the students saw her as a whole person.
Have we let something obscure our new nature in Christ or does it shine clearly for all to see?
