Earl Nightingale tells us to...

Earl Nightingale tells us to envision our goals every day, and before we know it we will have obtained them. As a matter of fact, our only limitations are the limitations that we impose upon ourselves because our vision is not great enough. He tells us to write our goals down, pray about them, speak to people who will assist us in reaching our goals, and accept our problems as learning experiences and not as failures. Earl Nightingale is a motivator and he sells his methods to people who want to become wealthy or increase their position in life. Saint Paul is also a motivator, a spiritual motivator. His goals are far greater than earning a million, becoming a world leader, or even paying off the home mortgage. "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead," the prize is heaven with Christ Jesus. Perhaps if we dwelt more on this spiritual goal, by writing it down, praying about it, speaking to enablers and learning that our problems in life are learning experiences, we would establish a confidence in our gift of eternal life. -- Runk
