At Easter we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Paul is telling us to celebrate our own resurrection as believers -- looking heavenward to the living Christ who is with God, rather than giving too much attention to what this world has to offer. We are, after all, says Paul, being kept in God's special "cellar" -- a place where our ancestors kept fruits and vegetables, preserved for eating. Paul says we have so much to look forward to when Christ returns in kingly splendor. Again, like the resurrection, it will not only be Christ's glory, but our glory as well. "Christ, the Lord, is risen today," and so are we. -- Wachenschwanz
