Educators tell us that learning...

Educators tell us that learning increases when more than one of the senses is involved. Also, when we experience something with more than one of our senses, we remember it longer and feel it more deeply. The postresurrection appearances of Jesus were not only visual.
Many times people will claim they have seen visions, but those whom Jesus visited after the resurrection did more than just see him. The Bible records many of Jesus‚--ô postresurrection appearances. The disciples all saw him. He shared a meal with them. He spoke to them. He let Thomas touch the wounds in his hands and side. He was a traveling companion to others on the road to Emmaus. He appeared to a large gathering. He comforted Mary at the tomb.
John proclaims that eternal life in Jesus Christ has been made manifest. John had heard his voice, had seen him with his eyes, and had touched him with his hands. John is certain of the resurrection, and he wants to proclaim the good news to others so that their joy may be complete as well.
