A famous minister accepted an invitation to preach at a small country church. The church seated less than 100 people. A large crowd gathered to hear this famous minister. The crowd was so large that many people couldn't get inside the church building. They had to stand outside. The church didn't have a PA system. (It didn't need one for a church of that size.) Just before going out to speak one of the ushers said to this famous minister, "Speak up! Please remember the people on the outside!" For many the church is a place where people gather for worship, prayer, Bible study, Christian education, and fellowship. This is good, but the church must also remember the people on the outside. "And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard?" (Romans 10:14b). -- Frank
