God reclothes us with garments...

God reclothes us with garments of salvation and robes of righteousness when we enter his Kingdom.
When Francis of Assisi was converted to Christianity and decided to become a priest, his father became so angry that he disinherited him and took him to court in a lawsuit. Francis' father demanded his son to pay back all the money he had ever given him for the church and the poor. So Francis threw a bag of money at his father's feet. Then the young priest stepped behind a curtain, took off all his clothing, and appeared before the crowded courtroom wearing nothing but a cross. Francis dropped the clothes at his father's feet saying, "Take not only my money but my clothing as well. Now we're even. I can start my new life in Christ's family as naked as I came into your family."
As St. Francis began his new life in Christ, he stripped himself of the old so Christ could reclothe him with the robes of righteousness.
