I have lost the source...

I have lost the source of this story: A certain woman (though it could have been a man) had everything this world has to offer. She died. When she arrived in heaven, an angel was sent to conduct her to her house. They passed mansion after mansion. As they came to each, she thought that it must be hers. Soon they passed through the main streets of heaven, then the suburbs, finally to the outskirts, where houses were much smaller. On the very fringe of heaven, they came to a tiny house, a hut. "That's your house," said the conducting angel. "What?" retorted the woman. "That, I can't live in that!" "I'm sorry," said the angel, "but that's all we could build for you with the materials you sent on ahead." My seminary theology professor suggested that, even though heaven has mansions, he would settle for an outhouse. And I was delighted to have the co-ed bathroom dedicated to me at the last church I served. -- Keller
