If your telephone rang and someone said, "Please answer the following three questions to see if you are eligible for a five-
day Florida vacation," would you believe that someone actually wanted to give you a free vacation? If you received an announcement in the mail that money had been deposited in a bank for you, and that all you had to do to receive it was to return an enclosed "affidavit," would you believe it? Do you believe an advertisement that says that you will receive a "free" coin, if you purchase two similar coins for three installments of $19.95? Is that third coin actually free? Do you believe that a realty firm would actually give you a free computer if you attended just one meeting to which you were invited? Would you, a woman, believe a stranger who rang your doorbell and announced that you were going to have a baby without benefit of a man, that it was going to be the special baby God had promised the people of Israel for centuries, and that all of this was going to happen even though the man at the door had no special identification? Mary did. It is absolutely amazing, that under the circumstances, she could reply, "Okay, I'll be waiting."
