It was Sunday noon and she was exhausted. The church school hour had been trying and she had left undone housework to come to church that day. There were people who needed her; sick friends, her own children, her husband, her parents. There was carpooling and washing dishes and clothes, beds to be made. There was planning and preparation for teaching and today she was so tired she wondered if it was worth it. She wondered why she had said, "Yes," to teaching in the church school? Busy with her thoughts, she was not paying attention to her young son's babbling, until suddenly she listened. "What did you say?" she asked. He repeated, "God couldn't come today so he sent my teacher."
