Last week we talked about...

Last week we talked about the amazing "Terra Cotta Army," the rows and rows of life-
size clay soldiers that lay hidden for centuries beneath a field in China.
Today, in our Romans passage, Paul is grieving that, like the people of China, his people have been given a great treasure, but they seem unaware that:
• as Israelites, they're God's adopted children.
• they have God's glory and covenants and law.
• they have God's worship and promises.
• they have the patriarchs, and from them comes the Messiah.
Are you and I aware of the treasures that our Lord has given us?
• He's made us part of his family.
• He calls us his beloved.
• He calls us to do his work with him.
• He's prepared a place for us in his heavenly home.
Are we living as people who've been given such a great treasure?
