In Margaret Wise Brown's classic children's tale, The Runaway Bunny, is the story of a bunny who dreams of running away from his home. His mom doesn't get in the way of his leaving, but seems to still be all around him wherever he goes. When he's in the forest climbing trees, her shape is there in the tree. When he tries to sail across the sea in a ship, the wind and clouds resemble her shape. He once even joins a circus to explore that life, but the trapeze artist looks like mommy. Unable to escape her presence, his fears relieved, he decides, "Aw shucks, I might as well go home." Jesus calms his disciples' fears by always being present with them.
