Often times great sayings inspired by God come out of the mouths of people who see the crowd, climb the hill, sit down, and then speak. Here are some comments made by such people:
A five-year-old girl was pondering a decision as to whether or not she should obey her parents by taking some candy from an adult friend. "No, thank you, I have made up my mind," she finally said.
An eight-year-old had just been reprimanded by her parents but jumped up and down on the couch anyway. Later she said, "I'm sorry, Daddy, sometimes I do what I really do not want to do ... forgive me ... spank me ..."
A father had just spent five hours preparing a hen for dinner in a special way. The meal was served. The eight-year-old was mum. The father said, "Don't you like it?" She replied, "It's good, but I'm not hungry NOW ... did I hurt your feelings?"
A five-year-old asks, "Why do people fight?" And says later, "When I die I will see you."
It is good for us to hear The Sermon on the Mount preached by people in every day life and in every day life situations.
Moral: Christ still lives and speaks today!
