In the movie Ben-Hur, there is a chariot race. Charlton Heston, representing the
Christian community, is the driver of a team of three horses. Driving three horses is a
difficult task. He finally catches on and tells the director, William Wyler, I can drive
these horses now, but I might not be able to win the race.
Wyler responds. "You just drive the horses, I will make sure you win." As director he had the power to have other drivers and teams slow up and Heston did win.
There are many times in the race for life that we need to trust God completely. And that with him we can claim a victory.
Moses faced an impossible task, to deliver the people from Egypt, and to give them the victory. In a way God was saying to Moses, "You just lead the people as I direct you, I will slow your enemies down, so that you can have the victory we depend on."
