Nobody loves me, everybody hates...

"Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, think I'll go eat worms." One of the great frustrations of childhood is that it often seems to children that adults, especially parents, have forgotten what it feels like to be a child. A child can easily feel that no one really understands them, no one knows what they feel deep down inside, no one is truly sympathetic to them because they don't really know them. That feeling causes a tremendous sense of loneliness in children of all ages.
But God does understand us deep down inside. God understands because God became one of us. God, incarnate in Jesus Christ experienced all our human feelings, so we know he has compassion for us. "God loves me, everybody is my brother and sister, think I'll go eat bread and wine with my family."
