Have you ever had an outfit or a pair of jeans that fit so well that they just felt natural to wear -- and yet you could feel yourself wearing them because somehow you sensed that they were tailored to your body and your style. Maybe you felt more confident wearing them, maybe more comfortable and putting them on just felt right.
When we're told to put on Christ like a garment, Paul could have used several words that spoke of merely throwing on or wearing the clothes -- but Jesus isn't something we throw on in the morning. Instead, the word Paul chose is enduo, which broken into its parts means literally to enter or sink into. Think of wearing those perfectly fitting clothes. Do you sink into them when you put them on? That is how putting on Christ is to be for us, as natural as our own sin.
