One of the most famous...

One of the most famous narrow gauge railroads in America runs from Durango to Silverton in southwest Colorado. Not just any train can make the trip, because the wheels must be precisely fitted to the narrow gauge.
It is told that the Illinois Central trains clattering between Cairo, Illinois, and New Orleans, Louisiana, were required to convert their wheels before making the return journey. The width of the northbound and southbound tracks were not the same, so trains would be jacked up and their wheels exchanged. Broad gauge wheel settings would not fit the narrow gauge road. Fortunately, track gauges were standardized in 1881, allowing trains to proceed without the bother of converting wheels.
However, even in today's modern world, if one wishes to travel by rail from Durango to Silverton, they must ride the narrow gauge.
There is an old spiritual which goes, "Everybody talking about heaven ain't going there." Jesus used a different terminology to express the same thought, adding the way is narrow and the life gauged for the broad way cannot expect to arrive at the destination.
