"Paul certainly was right," the preacher groaned to his companion. "Hope is not seen!"
The two preachers were discussing problems of their congregations. "My people do nothing but complain," the first pastor said. "It is always raining at our church."
The other laughed. "Perhaps you and your congregation need a new perspective, a sense of humor." So he told him a story: A young boy and his father were watching a movie on television together when the hero of the film asked a woman, "Why do you work as a woman of the night?" She replied, "To find $300 on my pillow in the morning." The father squirmed in his seat, aware of his son's presence, as the boy exclaimed, "Boy, she must have had a big tooth!"
