The Light brings everything into view, exposes all the unseen, lays bare the hidden, reveals and leads to the Truth. A lady told me the other day about her experience immediately following surgery. As she was slowly coming out of the anesthetic, she suffered another ailment: verbal diarrhea. Her words ran freely with no inhibition, and she lay quite unaware of what she was saying. Later, two of her children who were at her side during recovery advised her she had used a lot of vocabulary they had never heard from her mouth. Back in the "real world," she was obviously embarrassed and rather ashamed. She emphasized she never uses those vocables in normal conversation. But she and I agreed that perhaps these are the words she would sometimes like to use when fear and grace restrain her.
Those things we keep secret in daily conversation cannot be concealed under the Light. They need not be. He who exposes is also he who heals our wounds and gathers us into the company of others whom the Light has laid open and begun to heal.
