There is a man who had had a rough week: His employees had demanded time off which meant longer hours for him: His family needed time with him, they said, so he gave it: then, his church asked him to make some home visits.
The church wanted him to make some visits to prospective members, and in particular to one person who had just had open heart surgery. Reluctantly, he went.
He did not wish to make this visit because he was tired and did not feel as if he would be much comfort to anyone anywhere. But, he went anyway. He drove up to the house and waited a minute or two in his car. Finally he got out and knocked at the door. Inside was an elderly couple, a man who had had surgery and his wife. Both of their faces were beaming. They said to him, "Come ... let me fix some coffee ... you look down and a little tired ... let's talk ..." They ministered unto him.
Moral: The bowl of God's concern does not run out, even when we give out.
