The questions of Job are finally resolved through humility. Job would have made a good martial artist. When the student achieves the black belt after many years of training, amassing an incredible amount of knowledge and developing amazing feats of skill, the student comes to the awareness that there is so much more that he or she does not know. One of the qualities of a true black belt is the humbleness of ignorance - that the more one knows, the more one knows one knows so little. Dust and ashes are simply the student's bench upon which to still sit still before the master.
