Sheila took an evening photography...

Sheila took an evening photography class at the local college. She always loved
photography and she felt she was really good. All her friends told her she was excellent.
She went to class the first night and felt a bit bored as the instructor started right at the
beginning with some very basic principles. She knew all of this. She began to look at her
watch and wonder when they were going to get to something she didn't already know.
The class ended with a list of pictures they should take and bring back for the second
class.
The following week they brought back their assignments and the instructor critiqued each of them without revealing whose they were. Sheila did not fare very well. While there were some good things in each of her photos, the negative comments were far more numerous. After her initial shock, she sat back and really listened to the instructor. He was right! She began to "get it."
That was a turning point for her photography. "Remember the basics. Have the picture in your mind before you shoot it. Remember there are lots of photographers out there and it's not all about you!"
Job said it this way, "Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes."
