Shig Ikeda, a commercial photographer...
Shig Ikeda, a commercial photographer turned artist from New York City, prefers the advantages of black and white photography. "With color photography, a machine does it, and someone else is involved in the (creative) process. I shoot my own film, develop it, and print it. I don't have help from anyone else." It is such control over the elements of creation which enables artists to excel at their genius. In the creative process of God's redemption of the world, it is God who will make all things new. He will be the one to wipe away the tears from those who suffer.
