In the "Sisters of the Great Lakes" exhibition, artist Diane Quillen, a Saginaw Chippewa Indian, presented her alabaster stone sculpture titled Dreamdancer. The body of the Dreamdancer is composed, caught in the middle of graceful motion. Her face is calm and at peace in the dance. Jesus describes the life of those who have caught the dream of the Kingdom of God. They have learned to dance through grief and lowliness and even persecution with motions defined by grace and peace.
