On a Sunday morning after worship, a woman became immersed in conversation with a friend, and left the church without her purse. A little later she realized where she had left it, and returned to look for it. It wasn't in the pew where she had sat. She found the clergyperson and told him what had happened. He said, "Oh, I have your purse in the office. I thought it best because we have some parishioners who might think of it as the answer to their prayers."
