The testimony of experts states that methamphetamines are instantly addicting. Most
people who take "meth" for the first time do so having heard of its addictive potential.
Everyone does it thinking they will be all right, thinking they're strong enough to resist
the addiction and merely enjoy the drug. Maybe they saw billboards depicting a person
who used "meth": a shriveled body huddled next to an alley wall. Maybe parents lectured
them. They, perhaps, can recite verbatim television commercials against drugs. They
might have answered test questions in school about how "meth" worked on the brain:
triggering a cascading release of norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin.
However, they took it anyway. Temptations (tests) always drill themselves into our consciousness from some direction or dimension. When we test (or challenge) reality, we can find ourselves challenging (or testing) God.
