In Kokomo, Indiana, a deep groaning hum is chasing away more than demons. More than 100 people have complained of a low humming sound -- source unknown -- that has driven at least one person from her home.
Diane Anton moved out of her $200,000 dream home because she suffered from headaches, tremors, and vision problems that she attributes to the mysterious low-frequency hum. Her health improved once she moved to South Bend, but Ms. Anton refuses to sell her home.
"I can't sell that house knowing somebody would get sick in there," says Ms. Anton.
City officials are looking into the problem.
