There was once a certain monastery. And at that monastery the monks were only permitted to speak two words every five years. For the rest of the time, they were expected to remain in complete silence. So one day, this monk who had just finished his first five years at the monastery was given the opportunity to speak. He went to the head of the monastery and said, "Bed hard." Another five years went by. And when the monk was given his next chance to speak, he went to the head of the monastery and said, "Food bad." Then five more years passed, and this time the monk said, "I quit." When the head of the monastery heard that, he said, "Well, I'm not a bit surprised. All you have done is complain for years."
