Trip him? Some hard lessons...

Trip him? Some hard lessons have been learned by those who, from a position of strength, have caused their brothers to stumble. We all know the antics of a foot sticking in an aisle or a chair that has been conveniently misplaced.
Dwight Eisenhower, in his casual book At Ease, recalled an incident while he was still a student at West Point. He had been through the first year of being a "Plebe" and as a "Yearling" had the opportunity to turn the tables.
A new recruit bumped him which gave Ike the opportunity to dress him down. "Mr. Dumgard, what is your P.C.S.?" he said, then added, "You look like a barber."
The Plebe stood up and said softly, "I was a barber, sir." Eisenhower wrote he didn't have the sense to apologize ... and went to his tent where his roommate, P. A. Hodgson, was sitting. He said, "P. A., I'm never going to crawl another plebe as long as I live. I have just done something that was stupid and unforgivable. I managed to make a man ashamed of the work he did to earn a living."
