The trouble began when Bob, a very charismatic and influential man, went to a
convention and attended a worship service with some of his colleagues. He came back
convinced that only baptism by immersion was valid. He was able to convince a number
of others of his new insight and soon the church was divided. It became even more tense
after Bob rented the local indoor pool and he and those who followed him were re-
baptized.
