Weight Watchers is a proven program of losing weight through moderate and selective eating. Points are given to each kind of food and serving size. A person can eat, for example, up to 20 points a day. A good eight-point meal would consist of a three-ounce portion of teriyaki, boneless chicken breast, a baked potato, steamed zucchini, a cup of blueberries -- all with fat-free condiments, of course. Points can be saved (and earned with exercise), so that more of a feast meal can be enjoyed -- as long as one stays within the total points allotted for the day. On the day that Isaiah speaks of, God's generosity will know no point limits and the blessings for our lives will not be measured by calories or grams of fat. God will "feed" us with what we truly need, spiritual food -- full and rich, like the forgiveness of sins and the promise of life everlasting; we will not have to watch ourselves, but will gladly receive the bounty.
