When I was in fifth grade my classroom was on the second story of the school building. One beautiful spring day when the sun was shining and the windows of the classroom were wide open ... and while the teacher was teaching, I carefully made a paper airplane. When I was sure the teacher would not see it, I sent the airplane out the window and watched it in its long flight down. I watched and so did the teacher. He sent me down to retrieve the airplane and return it to him. I handed it to him and he sent it out the window and made me retrieve it ... three times! I quickly got the message that I should not be sending paper airplanes out the classroom window. The lesson was quick and effective. Peter learned that Jesus would forgive for each transgression. The lesson was quick and effective.
