When the second generation of Israel entered into the Promised Land, the supernatural care that had come from God in the wilderness for 40 years ended. From that point on the people had to survive on the natural produce of their new home. The supernatural is never meant to last forever in our lives; the natural, in fact, is far more common.
In reality the natural can even be considered supernatural for us, because it still comes from God who loves us and continues to provide for us. Many events in this universe cannot be explained by our human minds, however, we still learn to depend on many of those supernatural happenings for our daily survival. Thank God for the supernatural, and even for those things that we take more for granted -- the very natural happenings in our lives.
