Why do they call Saint...

"Why do they call Saint Paul a 'saint'?" the child wanted to know. "What is a saint?"
The father sighed. Questions. Questions. All day long. At school, he was a teacher. At home, he was a father. At church or in bed at night, he was a Christian. He recalled all the definitions he had heard and read, and replied, "A saint is one who lets the light and love of God shine through." Then he remembered Paul's letter to the Philippians, in which he wrote, "For to me, living is Christ and dying is gain." "Paul let the light and love of God shine through him in his words and in his actions."
