Why is it that every time I go to buy laundry detergent, the bottle says, "New and Improved"? I suppose that, by law, the manufacturers have to make some actual change to the product in order to market it as "New and Improved," but I think that it's mostly a marketing gimmick. If it's new and improved then I better buy it or I might be missing something.
In Jesus, God really did have a "New and Improved" covenant. Hebrews says, "He takes away the first to establish the second." -- Riether
