A woman lay dying in...

A woman lay dying in a hospital bed as her devoted husband sat beside her with tears falling down his face. "I have prayed day and night that you might get well," cried the man. "If Christ could raise the widow's son from death, why won't he answer my prayers to save you from death?" The woman weakly squeezed her husband's hand and softly said, "But he will, in one way or another. Hold onto your faith and remember this: Even if my body dies, God will deliver my soul from death and I will simply make the transition from earth to heaven. Please don't cry for me because I will never really die, and someday we will be together again, alive and well through Christ our Lord." -- Byrd
